Air-con Servicing

If your car isn't staying cool, your windows are misting up, there's funny smell or a strange noise when you turn on your A/C, this may mean your air-con system needs a service.

As well as providing climate control for your vehicle, a serviced air-con system will put less strain on your engine and reduce your fuel bills. It is worth noting that the average repair cost of an air-conditioning system is anywhere between £450 and £1500 depending on the make and model of the vehicle.

Our air-con service will take about an hour to complete, if your air-conditioning system has a leak or broken parts, these will need to be repaired separately.

What's Involved?

Refrigerant Management System
We will connect your vehicle's air conditioning system to an RMS (Refrigerant Management System) which allows us to remove, measure and then clean the refrigerant in your vehicle's air-conditioning system.
We test for leaks
The RMS will create a vacuum in the system to remove any moisture that may be present and to test for leaks.
The results!
If no leaks or problems are found, new refrigerant, oil and ultra-violet dye will then be put back into the system. If your air-conditioning system has a leak or broken parts, these will need to be repaired separately.
